    • Due Fri 3/30: Study for Ch 10 Vocab Quiz and Possessive Nouns Quiz
    • Due Fri 3/30: Shakespeare Extra Credit- Find and bring in current references to Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet", and/or words and phrases we use today that Shakespeare coined (created).

Agenda:

Update planners with Agenda and HW
  1. Announcements:
    • Students should stand for the Pledge of Allegiance, then listen QUIETLY to the announcements while they update their planners.
  2. Chapter 10 Packet; Review Final Check
  3. Social Offenses 10 min.
    • In groups, rank the list of social offenses, then discuss them with your group.
    • Read each scenario with your group. Come up with 3 solutions to each problem. Be ready to share with the whole class!
  4. Summarize Meet William Shakespeare p. 802-803 LB
    1. Read each paragraph, bullet facts, then write a summary sentence or two for each.
  5. Act I Pre-Reading Cornell Notes p. 801, 804-805 LB
    1. p. 801: Literary Analysis: Dialogue and Stage Directions- take C Notes on each
    2. p. 804: Writing about the Big Question- Use the sentence starter to repsond.
    3. p. 804: Vocabulary- copy the word, definition, then use it in your OWN defining sentence
    4. p. 805: Background for the play- take notes on the paragraph
    5. p. 805: Elizabethan Language- copy the words and meanings in your C Notes
